As we travel deeper into the Great Library of Shenanigans, you discovered the poor derpy who shall forever haunt the library, hoping to finally read the ending to that series that never finished...


As we bow our heads in solidarity, we continue our explanation. Vote in today's poll to see who we discover next!

Fun fact, the "Waiting for the next book" Derpy was inspired by my own novel experiencing delays beyond my control. So I used my frustration to create a Derpy! (Most Derpies are inspired by my emotions).

Speaking of inspiration, I sketched several Derpies for the 9, 10 & 11th designs. Once we get through the finished ones, you will get to vote on these as well.  But I can't keep them a secret, so here's the sketches!

Keep in mind these are rough sketches, and the quotes/words may still change based on feedback and ideas.

Now, you may have noticed 4 sketches instead of 3... What will happen to the one not picked? Easy, it'll join one of the other Derpy Dragons later this year! (I'll link those below so you can follow them in the meantime 😜)

Other exciting announcement, after careful consideration, I decided that the FREE unlocked sticker will be a whole new design.

But, there's more. Because I like shiny pins (and derpy dragons) I figured that this little guy will unlock as a mini pin once we reach $30,000 AND if we hit $35,000 I will add him for FREE to all pledges over 5 pins! (Counting add-ons)

I have been thinking about stretch goals since you unlocked 11 designs already. (Plus some custom tier designs) And I think I found the perfect one! Once we get 300 backers, ALL backers will get a FREE mini pin!

Apparently you guys love the hydra Derpy! Not that I blame you, I'd rather be reading too... But sometimes those other voices are just too loud to focus...or is that just me?

The adventure continues in the Grand Library of Shenanigans, and I can't wait to see who you discover next!

There's still time to tell me your favourite bookish quotes or Bookish Derpy dragon ideas! One thing to consider, is if I end up using the quote it should have no more than 3-6 words. Any more and it gets too hard to put in a pin. Not saying longer quotes can't be suggested, they can still inspire ideas. I just can't put them on the pin itself.

An update on unlocking little Mushy, Mushroom Hunt is only $842 away from us unlocking this adorable design as an add-on!

Not only are we close to unlocking Mushy, but his campaign just unlocked the 4th stretch goal today!

I couldn't be more proud. And I am grateful for each of you who have supported him so far!

Starting with one for which I designed the pins. And the best part is it's dragons too!

You guys unlocked EVERY SINGLE DERPY already! 😳 And the campaign only just started! I still can't pick my jaw up from the floor.

Now what will I do? 🤔 I had this whole story planned with polls and the mystery of who unlocks next... (Tsk tsk...) 

*deep breath* Ok... I'm going to put you through the votes anyways (because I'm evil like that...muahahaha ... And I love seeing which ones you guys pick!).😈 And it'll just determine which ones get revealed in the bookshelf. 😂

So what does this mean? Not only are all the finished designs unlocked, but we get to vote on two backer inspired quotes/themes for the 9th & 10th pins! (In a few days). Here's a few ideas so far:

Don't be shy! We all love dragons and books here.

Once we finished the quest through the library, I will compile the ideas into a poll for everyone to vote on.
 
Speaking of the first Derpy you discovered in yesterday's poll, you revealed the "Book worm? No! I'm a book dragon!" Derpy.

Which is appropriate as we are all book dragons here. (We eat worms for snacks... just kidding... don't eat worms. That's gross.🐛🐉).

I can't wait to see which Derpy you reveal in today's poll! I made the results hidden for this one. (Muahahaha) 😈

Oh, I almost forgot, not only did you guys unlock 10 Derpy Dragons, you ALSO unlocked a FREE sticker for ALL backers when we got 100 backers!

As we unlock, and vote for the derpies, I will reveal each derpy and hopefully by the end they are all revealed (including some new ones which I'll draw through the next 3 weeks!)

I wrote a little adventure story to go with these polls, so be sure to check back every day or so. (I'll probably spread these out to every other day instead of daily polls...unless I get impatient and want to see who you vote for 🤣)

To start off my updates, I figured I would start with a question for you. Since I know that if you are here, you likely love dragons at least a little bit. (Right?) But, I would love to know what type of dragon is your absolute favourite... (Other than derpy dragons of course 😉)

I realize this isn't a fair question as I can't pick my own favourite dragon... 🤔🤔🤔 So I'll go with my favourite dragon is the next one I draw. 🐉🐉 😉
